Mank is geen film voor het grote publiek, al zal hij wel veelvuldig bekeken worden omwille van zijn reputatie en het feit dat hij gereleased werd op Netflix. Maar het is in dat opzicht toch een buitenbeentje in zijn oeuvre. Erg sfeervolle knappe nostalgische film met mooie zwart beelden.
