WARNING SOCIALIST COOKBOOK REVIEW This makes me think, maybe I should start a blog of socialist cookbook reviews? :) I hadn't heard of Faviken before I was given this book, but apparently it's one of the top restaurants in the world. It's in a rural area of Sweden, about 7-8 hours drive from Stockholm. This book is written by the chef, Magnus Nilsson.

I have the Faviken cookbook and have read it cover to cover. I’ve even made a batch of those little flax seed ‘crackers’, but your photos really take it to the next level. Reply Fäviken is a farm located in Jämtland – between the mountain Åreskutan and the deep, cold lake Kallsjön. The restaurant Fäviken Magasinet is now closed and the farm is not open to the public. Most of the book consists of text explaining the restaurant, about the meat, fish, and plants used. there are gorgeous pictures as well throughout the book.
